This piece is inspired by a memory from last summer at Waterloo Park with my daughter. I remember us both watching the silhouettes drift across the concrete, wrapping around stone cubes as the light bent and shifted with them. There's something so silently powerful about how nature can soften everything while awakening the senses in such a vivid way. It's like nature knows exactly what we need in that moment. I see now why grounding therapy truly helps our nervous systems regulate as nature forces us to reduce overstimulation and reconnect with our natural state of being.
