It’s been so long since I’ve enjoyed a holiday up north. There’s nothing more humbling and awakening than being out on open water with a panoramic view of the sky. It’s actually so quiet. We think the city has quiet moments until we remove ourselves from our homes and actually find peacefulness outdoors, far away. I’m so grateful to live in such a safe and beautiful part of the world. We’re going to miss home while we’re away - this access to solitude is a unique privilege to Canada.
