Something that will always enthral me is how our brains identify patterns with remarkable accuracy, even at a young age. Especially for those of us who practice art or have a visual memory, we quickly put pieces together which, without context often don't make any sense. I've been looking so closely at nature these days, painting little moments that I so often have overlooked. We don't need to wait for the golden hour glow, the perfect moment. Look closely and it's always there; even when the snow melts on the side of the road into little puddles that mirror the sky. Everything is more beautiful when you see through a tiny scope.
