This piece in particular, reminds me of many things I love about my dad. He's always had a deep appreciation for nature, contrast, and tiger tail ice cream. Long before it was trending, he believed in supporting local and Canadian-made goods, always showing me the beauty of the land and people right here at home. The conifers at golden hour feel like a metaphor for the parts of him that live now through me.
